Brighton General Hospital, Brighton (2012)

Brighton General Hospital

We were appointed directly by the Client in order to undertake a full survey of the existing electrical services within the site's Arundel Building and to provide a detailed report and associated layout drawings of our findings. During the course of our works, the building remained in full operation, thus allowing the Hospital to provide its standard high quality service without any interruption.

All main, sub-main and final circuits within the building were noted and their final points labelled to provide clear identification of their origin; a task specifically requested be carried out by the Client.

We were appointed as the lead electrical contractor (including mechanical ventilation) by the appointed Principal Contractor, A & F Pilbeam Construction Ltd, for the design and build project for the refurbishment of the old Radiography Department into a new office and administration area, complete with GP clinic and audiology booth. Prior to commencement, we were employed directly by the Client to undertake a full survey of the existing mechanical and electrical services within the proposed refurbishment area, providing a detailed report and associated layout drawings of our findings.

Our works on this project involved the installation of low voltage power distribution, general and office lighting, fire detection and alarm system, security alarm system, and mechanical supply and extract ventilation.

We were appointed as the lead mechanical and electrical contractor by the appointed Principal Contractor, A & F Pilbeam Construction Ltd, for the design and build project for the refurbishment of the old Pharmacy Dispensary Department into a new office and administration area. Prior to commencement, we were employed directly by the Client to undertake a full survey of the existing mechanical and electrical services within the proposed refurbishment area, providing a detailed report and associated layout drawings of our findings.

Our works on this project involved the installation of low voltage power distribution, general and office lighting, fire detection and alarm system, security alarm system, and mechanical supply and extract ventilation.

 

1 College Road, Brighton (2011)

We were appointed as the Principal Contractor by the Client for the re-modelling of the old three-storey Grade-listed Post Office into a new modern office and administration building. The project was awarded on a design and build basis and, prior to commencement, we issued a full specification and drawings in accordance with the Client's specific brief, as well as taking account of the local Conservation Officer's comments and requirements.

Our works on this project involved the complete stripping out and removal of the existing internal walls, ceilings, etc., which were in poor condition. We undertook the internal fit-out of the building's new office and administration areas, including the construction of new partition walls with half-height glazed sections, which were finished to the Client's specific requirements. We installed new mechanical and electrical services throughout, including a new gas-fired central heating system, as well as the installation of new low voltage power distribution, general and office lighting, fire detection and alarm system, security alarm system, and mechanical extract ventilation.

 

Drakes of Brighton, Brighton (2010 - present)

We were appointed directly by the Client in order to undertake the adaptation of the existing electrical services in the refurbishment of the hotel's existing en-suite wet rooms.

Our works on this project involved the stripping out and removal of existing redundant services, with the installation of new general and architectural LED feature lighting and small power requirements, in accordance with the proposals drawn up by the project's interior designer, Inara Interiors.

 

Pelham House, Brighton (2010)

We were appointed as the lead mechanical and electrical contractor directly by the Client for the design and build project with respect to the refurbishment of the existing five-storey office building. Prior to commencement, we were employed directly by the Client to undertake a full survey of the existing mechanical and electrical services within the building, providing a detailed report and associated layout drawings of our findings.

Our works on this project involved the installation of a new gas-fired central heating system, together with a new communal kitchen and disabled persons WC. We also installed new sub-metered low voltage power distribution, general, office and architectural feature lighting, fire detection and alarm system, security alarm system, and mechanical extract ventilation.

 

Addington Heights Care Home, Croydon (2009/2010)

We were appointed as the lead electrical contractor for and on behalf of LJJ Ltd, who designed and managed the mechanical and electrical package on this brand new nursing home development, equipped to welcome many healthcare needs for up to fifty users.

Our works on this project involved the installation of low voltage power distribution, general and architectural feature lighting, fire detection and alarm system, security alarm system, and mechanical building management system.

 

Holiday Inn, Kingston South, London (2008/2009)

We were appointed as the lead electrical contractor for and on behalf of LJJ Ltd, who designed and managed the mechanical and electrical package on this brand new 4-star hotel development.

Our works on this project involved the installation of low voltage power distribution, general and architectural feature lighting, fire detection and alarm system, security alarm system, and mechanical building management system.

 

Ligne Roset, Brighton (2008)

We were appointed directly by the Client, Clement Joscelyne Ltd, for the design and build project of their new 6,000 sq ft Ligne Roset showroom in the heart of Brighton.

Our works on this project involved the design and installation of low voltage power distribution, general and architectural feature lighting, fire detection and alarm system, security alarm system, and integrated sound system.

 

My Hotel, Brighton (2007/2008)

We were appointed as the lead electrical contractor for and on behalf of LJJ Ltd, who designed and managed the mechanical and electrical package. The brand new hotel development was designed to the highest, most luxurious specification.

Our works on this project involved the installation of low voltage power distribution, general and architectural feature lighting, fire detection and alarm system, security alarm system, mechanical building management system, and individual integrated sound systems to each bedroom.

 

De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea (2004/2005)

We were appointed by the Principal Contractor for the prestigious Phase One remodelling project to the Grade One listed arts, architecture and live performance centre.

Our works on this project involved the installation of a high voltage substation (working alongside EDF Energy), low voltage power distribution, general and architectural feature lighting, fire detection and alarm system, security alarm system, mechanical building management system.
