For all trades working within the construction industry, these are exceptional circumstances. As a Company, all of us at T.K. Installations will be working at all times in strict accordance with the latest revision of the Construction Leadership Council's Site Operating Procedures in an effort to protect our staff and colleagues, trusted suppliers and sub-contractors, agents, visitors, and our Client’s staff and members of the public. Where our workers are required to enter peoples' homes, T.K. Installations' operatives shall follow the latest Public Health England guidance on "Tradespeople and working in people’s homes". The Health & Safety Executive is the relevant enforcing authority for Public Health England guidelines. If a site is not consistently implementing the measures set out by Public Health England, it may be subject to enforcement action. Within our documented risk assessments and method statements, T.K. Installations is now assessing the risk of Covid-19 within our works and tasks, along with the measures that we can implement to mitigate the risk to our operatives, our Client's staff and members of the public. These measures are based on published guidance within the CLC's SOP document and will be strictly followed and adhered to at all times. The health and safety requirements of any construction activity shall not be compromised at this time. If an activity cannot be undertaken safely, then it shall not take place. Emergency services are also under great pressure and may not be able to respond as quickly as usual. This shall be taken into consideration when planning work activities and construction programmes, first aid, fire and emergency responses. As a Company, we shall be frequently reminding our staff and personnel of the current CLC's Site Operating Procedures, which are aimed at protecting them, their colleagues, families and the UK population.
